Exterior Painting Preparation

As home painters, experience shows that paint preparation is key to a quality painting result. Painters tape, drop cloths, plastic, protective 
paper are applied to areas surrounding the painting area. A clean and dry paintable surface is important to a lasting exterior finish. We power 
wash prior to exterior painting, scrape peeling paint, clean surfaces, sand rough areas, and apply caulk as needed to trim and nail holes. A 
primer sealer may be applied prior to application of paint.
 
Cabinet Staining & Trim Staining
Inside, your Color Life painter will prepare wood surfaces for a smooth finish. Again, protective tape, drop cloths, painters 
plastic, paper are applied to areas surrounding the painting area. Quality cabinet refinishing may include; poly coat 

removal, sanding sealer, sanding, stain cabinets, apply poly finish. Door staining and trim staining follow a similar paint preparation and wood 
staining process. 
 
Cabinet Painting & Trim Painting
Whenever possible cabinet painting requires a durable lacquer finish. The first steps here are important. cabinet repairs, trim repairs, the correct 
wood filler, and a quality coat of primer paint is absolutely necessary for a durable, smooth painted finish. Our painted cabinets and painted trim 
are truly a trademark of our quality workmanship. Door painting and trim painting also include the proper protection prior to the start of your home 
painting project.

 
Interior Painting, Wall Painting, Ceiling Painting

So many unique faux options are available. Most customers prefer subtle faux finishing techniques which most often includes wall glazes, ragging, 
washed finish or similar. More elaborate faux options are possible. All faux painting requires a working faux sample to assure the proper result.

Color Life Painters, provides complete fence repair and fence refinishing services. Prior to fence staining, we treat weathered wood to assure a
